La SFScon (South Tyrol Free Software Conference) è la conferenza internazionale sul Software Libero che ha luogo ogni anno in Alto Adige.
“Free Software: per un business innovativo!”: questo è il tema della SFScon2008.
Anche quest'anno in Alto Adige abbiamo tra i nostri ospiti esperti di fama internazionale. Saranno presenti come relatori Oliver Diedrich (Heise Zeitschriften Verlag, Germany, Senior editor Linux and Open Source), Simon Phipps (SUN Microsystems, USA, Chief Open Source Officer and Director Open Technologies Practice), Richard Schwerdtfeger (IBM, USA, Accessibility Architecture and Strategy for IBM Software), Stormy Peters (Gnome Foundation, USA, Executive Director), Josh Berkus (PostgreSQL Project, USA, Core Team), Walter Bender (Sugar Labs, USA, Founder).
Per partecipare alla conferenza è obbligatorio effettuare la registrazione online entro il 12.11.2008. La partecipazione alla conferenza è completamente gratuita.

The SFScon (South Tyrol Free Software Conference) is the yearly international conference about Free Software in South Tyrol.
“Free Software: for innovative business” is this years topic.
Like in past years we are very proud to welcome internationally known experts as speakers of the conference. This years speakers are Oliver Diedrich (Heise Zeitschriften Verlag, Germany, Senior editor Linux and Open Source), Simon Phipps (SUN Microsystems, USA, Chief Open Source Officer and Director Open Technologies Practice), Richard Schwerdtfeger (IBM, USA, Accessibility Architecture and Strategy for IBM Software), Stormy Peters (Gnome Foundation, USA, Executive Director), Josh Berkus (PostgreSQL Project, USA, Core Team), Walter Bender (Sugar Labs, USA, Founder).
The conference is free of charge. Registration is open until November 12.
Detailed schedule, information about the speakers and the registration form can be find online on www.SFScon.it.
Simultaneous translation service into German, Italian and English will be provided.
At the SFScon takes delivery of the SFSaward, the annual prize given by the Linux User Group Bozen-Bolzano-Bulsan which is awarded to those who have particularly distinguished in South Tyrol for the use and dissemination of Free Software.
