In 2001 Microsoft had a problem with Linux. Now 21 years later? "Microsoft Loves Linux" at least says Microsoft itself. But the reality is different for the Youtuber "eBuzz Central": Microsoft blocks Linux. According to eBuzz Central, Microsoft has power over the PC hardware market and is trying to pull Linux out of support.

What do you think? Will Microsoft succeed? Will we soon be left out in the cold with Linux for Desktop?

_MY OPINION_ (no, it's not looking at the bright side...)
Every, EVERY protective policies ever, work at first, then turns out to be a backfire. What are they really doing is marketing for the "Linux enabled" producers like Clevo. So, please do it, and let's see how (if ever) it will really work as espected.

my penny:
the decisive element of the global battle now is: GAMAM-cloud prisony VS citizen's cloud with data-sovereignity this is (imho) what the pessimistic analysys of shoshana zuboff implies.
the strategy of FLOSS-OSS should consider this earnestly :-) in the end: "greetings to the children of our grand-nephews" - they might have a chance if we keep up the battle :-)
