Hi, I hope you won't mind my english. I am studying here in Bozen as an exchange student. My question is: is it possible to use the university wireless connection and the wired connection offered in student hostel Rainerum without using the commercial Aegis client? I know wpa_supplicant supports ieee802.1x authentication (which seems to be what the university is using), but I didn't manage to get it to work. If any of you have done this, could you send me the relevant parts of the config files?

As said by Chris, you have to use the Aegis client for the WiFi to work with linux. From my viewpoint, it should be the IC&T of the unibz to pay the fees for it, but I'm sure they don't think it this way... ;)
