Gave a look to the OpenAI website. Looks huge at first, but giving attention to details shows many typos, many words but pure facts. Inspecting the company under it https://www.openaiworld.com/company-data/# (https://www.openaiworld.com/company-data/#)https:// a very small reality. At last: no sign of source-code, no transparency.

I also give a try to the beta chat but stopped when system asks my personal phone number (must be a cellular) after personal mail in a full Google env. Sorry no, thanks.

I tried OpenAI one week ago and stopped exactly at the same point as Diego. What do they need the phone number for? Email verification should be sufficient. Moreover, they need different enquiries to tune the AI engine. For that it is better to have a large user base, not to narrow it.
