Geplante Termine:
* Only Office, 06. September 2023 – 18:00 Uhr
* Linux (Linuxmuster), 13. September 2023 – 18:00 Uhr
* Nextcloud, 14. September 2023 – 18:00 Uhr
* Moodle, 20. September 2023 – 18:00 Uhr
* LibreOffice, 21. September 2023 – 18:00 Uhr

Hi,
This Saturday (02), starting at 14:45 AM, there is a workshop about XMPP
and Snikket:
https://cfp.openlabs.cc/oscal2023/talk/9TTNTH/
It is part of the OSCAL conference in Tirana, but we are planning to use
BBB to make it a hybrid event (Roberto will be remote anyway).
It is the same workshop that we did a couple of months ago (but in
English), so I don't think that it is quite interesting for you. In case
someone is interested in joining, you are welcome of course.
We are going to use this BBB room:

It is part of the OSCAL conference in Tirana, but we are planning to use
BBB to make it a hybrid event (Paolo will be remote anyway).
I believe that most of you are already familiar with FUSS, but in case
someone would like to join, you are welcome.

Buongiorno!
a parte.
https://www.team-k.eu/team-k-significa-competenza/
Se non risultero' eletto, cambia poco. Collaboro da alcuni anni con
Team-K, continuero' a farlo. Alcuni esempi concreti sono riportati
sotto.
prossima giunta provinciale.
comunita' Linux numerose opportunita'.
sviluppare soluzioni agnostiche e universalmente accessibili.
"stampa-compila-scannerizza-invia". Da introdurre come regola. Vorrei
Qualcosa in
questo senso e' descritto in questo mio contributo su Salto
https://www.salto.bz/de/article/16102020/pratiche-consolari-e-smart-working
posizioni in Facebook, Instagram ecc. Se qualcuno vuole contattarmi,
puo' farlo direttamente. Sono volentieri disponibile per presentazioni
a gruppi, organizzazioni ecc.
- sempre riguardo Alperia

The answer from the EU follows here. They did not get to the point.
Just generic nonsense about the Common Market.
Is anyone surprised? Yesterday Cardinal Zuppi, Archbishop of Bologna,
President of the Italian Bishops' Conference and personal Peace Envoy
of Pope Francis stated that the EU could do much more for the peace,
but her weigh is nil compared to her economic capabilities. Q.E.D.
https://www.rainews.it/articoli/2023/08/zuppi-apre-il-meeting-di-rimini-e-s…
This is what we need. A Common, Single Market for Peace Solutions in
the Ukraine. But what shall be done, as long as neither Ukraine nor
Russia are Single Market Members?

===== ANSWER =====
Dear Mr Piani,
Thank you for contacting the Europe Direct Contact Centre.
Please note that the agreement of co-legislators, the European Digital
Identity Wallets could, at the earliest, become available to citizens
at the end of 2024. Therefore, we cannot, yet, provide information on
which operating systems the application will be available.
The Commission submitted a Proposal for a Regulation on European
Digital Identity Wallets. The European Digital Identity Wallets should
reduce the risks and costs linked to the fragmentation inherent to
divergent national solutions and will strengthen the Single Market by
allowing citizens to identify online in a convenient and uniform way to
securely access public and private services across the Union. The
Commission’s proposal is currently under negotiation by co-legislators.
We would like to invite you to follow the future developments on the
website of the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content
and Technology.
https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en
We hope you find this information useful. Please contact us again if
you have other questions about the European Union, its activities or
institutions.
===== QUESTION =====
Referring to the document "SWD(2021) 124 final" about European Digital
Identity. At page 43 is written "To ensure availability for all
citizens, a desktop version of the Wallet App will also be developed."
Can you please tell me if for this desktop app a Linux version will be
available or whether it will run only on Microsoft operating systems?
As an alternative, will all the relevant documentation be open so that
it will be possible to develop such app independently?
More in general, does the Commission understand the risks of an
excessive dependence on US software developers and Asian hardware
producers? Is the Commission trying to make the EU less dependent, for
example, by encouraging the use of Linux instead of Microsoft wherever
possible? Thank you!
Dear Dashamir and all!
In Italian we have the expression "tagliare la testa al toro" meaning
something like "go straight for a solution", "not lose time with
inessential details" etc.
The EU provides facilities for a direct contact. Therefore I just
entered the page https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/write-us and
wrote the message below. The receipt is time-stamped Tue, 15 Aug 2023
18:16:00 +0000 (UTC) (2023-08-15 20:16)
They promise to reply withing three days. Let's see. The countdown
begins. Shall keep everybody here posted.
