ppd per stamante canon

Ciao, all'ultimo incontro abbiamo parlato di usare direttamente il ppd per installare la stamante visto che altri metodi non funzionano al 100%. Io ho il ppd, ma diversamente da come ci siamo detti, col tasto destro sul file non ho l'opzione per installarlo (xubuntu). Se invece provo a installare la stampante "normalmente", non mi chiede nessun driver (perche' c'e' già uno installato) che pero' è proprio quello che da problemi. Come ne esco? Ad una riunione del LUGBZ si era discusso di organizzare qualche workshop su GNU/Linux on SmartPhones and Tablets. Una variante moderna delle Installation Parties. Forse anche un workshop su Arduino potrebbe essere interessante. Qualcuno in lista ha esperienze di questo tipo? Happy hacking! Patrick

Treiber für Canon

Hallo liste, für meinen Drucker Canon Pixma MP630 verwende ich den unter www.turboprint.info erhältlichen Treiber. Er fuktioniert auch nur meistens. Wenn nicht speichere ich auf der ntsf Partition als PDF und drucke unter Windows. Wenn jemand von euch einen besseren Treiber findet wäre ich froh. Grüsse aus Terlan Hans

Dear all, apparently Monday the 21st at 9.00 at TIS is the best date for everybody. We'll try to provide free WIFI access to everybody which will help us getting our hands dirty with Hadoop.
