ich habe mir einen neuen Kernel kompiliert und jetzt werden die Boot-Meldungen beim Boot-Prozess nicht mehr angezeigt.
Woran kann das liegen?

Buongiorno,
Scrivo questa mail per presentarmi al gruppo. Lavoro presso l'Università di
Bolzano come tecnico software alla Facoltà di Informatica.
Dongilli e Augsten mi hanno caldamente consigliato la partecipazione alla
mailing list e quindi eccomi qui.
Mi sono avvicinato da poco all'ambiente Linux e quindi ci saranno richieste
di aiuto da parte mia in futuro.
La mi curiosità, al momento, è sapere se fra di voi c'è qualcuno che usa
l'equivalente di Samba per l'ambiente Macintosh (AppleShare).

ich habe eine Frage an euch alle:
Kennt jemand von euch zufaellig ein Produkt fuer Linux der so
aehnlich funktioniert wie Interscan Viruswall von Trendmicro?
Es ist ein Virenscanner, der alle Mails durchscannt die
reinkommen und auch die HTTP-Seiten auf malicious-Code scannt.
Bin fuer alle Tipps dankbar

Ciao lista,
ho un problemino collegato a Samba: sto copiando files
grossi da una macchina win2k a 2 macchine linux
(che hanno montato lo share della macchina win2k).
Per la macchina linux A non ci sono problemi,
mentre sulla macchina linux B il copy s'interompe
dopo qualche megabyte dando:
cp: reading 'bla': Input/output error
nel log dice:
[...] smb_request: result -104, setting invalid
Ho vari motivi di pensare che _non_ sia la differenza
tra le 2 macchine linux a causare i problemi.
Domande alla lista:
Avete mai visto un problema di questo tipo - l'avete
anche risolto magari :)?
Potrebbe essere causato da strutture di reti interposte tipo NAT?
Infatti in un caso la route e` piu` o meno diretta (macchina A) e
nell' altro caso c'e` NAT di mezzo.

Ciao, sono nuovamente a bolzano da ieri per i corsi e volevo sapere se
domani (o oggi, a seconda di quando questa mail potra' uscire dal mio
portatile) vi trovate al solito ristorante. Sarei interessato a
partecipare.
