Drucker mit USB-Anschluss unter Suse 7.2

Hallo Freunde, habe mir eben einen neuen Tintenstrahldrucker von Canon zugelegt, der nur einen USB-Ausgang hat. Mein früherer Drucker (auch Canon Bubblejet) hat unter KDE perfekt funktioniert. Was muss ich jetzt alls tun, damit auch der neue druckt (wenn möglich in Farbe...)? Danke für Tips und Hinweise. Günther

Mando una copia alla lista, penso che sia un discroso di interesse comune. Anch'io devo trovare un editor il più user friendly possibile, ma deve ben validare il documento a seconda del docBook. Poi l'editor dovrebbe essere flessibile, cioè user friendly ma adeguato anche a power users. Un altra parte che mi interessa è definire delle guide lines o un sistema di archiviazione delle versioni dei documenti, perchè ci dovrebbero essere più di un autore e un sacco di lettori. Da noi in ditta stanno cercando un sistema del genere e vorrei convincerli ad usare tools free e platform indipendent, almeno per quanto riguarda gli standard, perchè senò si comprano un prodotto commerciale, che funziona solo sotto win ed io sono dinuovo fregato. Un altro punto da risolvere è lestrazzione di versioni deverse da un documento. Allora l'autore fa un documento globale e descrive un sistema che è composto da n moduli, deve però poter definire all'interno del documento globale che alcuni "paragrafi", sono specifici ad un modulo (X, Y, Z, ...). Ed in fine quando viene generato un documento finale, in formato XML, TEX, PDF o HTML, deve poter dare i parametri al fin' che vengano inclusi solo i paragrafi di alcuni moduli (e.g. X ed Y). Percio al momento sono aperte le seguenti domande: 1) Quale formato, anche se penso sarà DocBook. 2) Quali tools per gli autori? 3) Quali tools per i lettori? 4) Come si fà a definire _MODUL_TAGS? 5) Quali tools per generare HTML, PDF, ...? 6) Come archiviare versioni dei documenti? Problem Introduction . ----------------------`---------------------------------------------. First I do not know if this was reported, but I feel it is important enough to mention this issue to PDF users. Most companies use PDF Acrobat to produce a nice looking PDF files and many companies use the security feature BUILT-IN Acrobat to protect their documents. What I found is very easy to unprotect such PDF files. Take this scenario you will understand what do I mean. HP released a nice document called: "Building a Windows NT bastion host in practice", this document is a PDF protected document that mean you can only print the document, you cannot do copy and past or any modification. The document is protected using STANDARD method. Here is how you can test this. Take the "hpntbast13.pdf" or take any other protected document or just create a PDF document and protected by following these steps: 1- Open the PDF file 2- From Acrobat Exchange menu choose File/Save-AS 3- A dialog Box will open in Security Drop Down field choose STANDARD it is the only choice (well at least in the acrobat I use) 4- Once you clicked STANDARD you will see another Dialog windows title(Security) fill in : 1- Put a password in "Change Security Options" field 2- Under "Do Not Allow" Check Changing the document check Selecting Text and Graphics , and Finaly Check Adding or changing Annotations and Form Fields. 3- Click OK to close the security Dialo Box. 5- Now your document is protected and you will see that you cannot do any copy or text selection you can only print. To unprotect the PDF you just protect or the one you get 1- Open the PDF 2- From From Acrobat Exchange menu choose File/Save-AS 3- A dialog Box will open in Security Drop Down field NONE 4- A dialog Box will POPUP in modal form with this message Are you sure you want to change the security Method? 5- Click OK then Click Save. 6- Now you have an unprotected document. Actually there is some way to protect it even from that for more information you can check some PDF made by ISS.net. [OurHome] AvantGo deattivato

JoKu mi ha fatto notare che il modulo AvantGo non funziona, datoche penso che nessuno ne ha bisogno l'ho deattivato. Perfortuna era un modulo, i quali possono essere deattivati. nuovo arrivato

Ciao a tutti mi chiamo Paolo ho 35 anni e abito a Merano, lavoro nel settore delle macchine per ufficio da 17 anni. Ho iniziato ad interessarmi a Linux un paio di anni fa acquistando una distribuzione Slackware 3.4 che installai con notevole fatica (scarsa conoscenza dell'inglese !!). Oggi ho in casa una rete con 4 computer di cui: 1) in cantina con Hylafax (486 con SUSE 6.1) 2) in cantina con samba in emulazione di windows Nt pimary domain controller (Red Hat 6.2) 3) in casa un amd 800 con 256 mb ram che monta win98, win2000, suse 7.2 e mandrake 8 4) un portatile Toshiba con Win98 e Suse 7.2 Per il momento mi diverto abbastanza, spero di conoscervi presto.
